Name cards have many uses. Receiving one signals to you that the person on the other end has sufficient money to spend on something that warrants brief attention.
Anyway, I had been organising my textbooks into storage boxes in anticipation of my eventual move to the east side–and also because I am due to finish my Sociology with Communication degree by June 2022!
My eyes turned to a textbook: Criminology (6th Ed.) by Stephen Jones. If you look closely at the photo, you can see a layer of dust settling on a strip of a name card.
If you are an avid reader of physical textbooks and find yourself using multiple bookmarks like me to mark key concepts, names, and terms, go ahead and cut a name card into strips. They work pretty well!
